WritingThe writing section of this site shares essays, quotes, poetry and book recommendations that are geared towards art and the art of living, things that are part of my walk as an artist. Some of the essays an poems I have written, but the quotes and recommended books are the great works of others. Why Write? There can be a thousand reasons to write, but for me, the fire that burns my desire to write is fueled by Love, a Love of words. On one level I love and enjoy the simple elements of words, including sound; rhythm; rhyme; metaphor; meaning and more. On another level, I love words because they have life giving power. The writings for this site, and my quest as a writer, is to use the elements in ways that allow me to share, praise and be part of that life giving power, particularly the life power known as the Word.
