Outstanding Interdisciplinary Artist Award!
If you were to choose, who would you give The Outstanding Interdisciplinary Artist Award! to? William Blake? Leonardo De Vinci? Jerry Garcia? First, what is The Outstanding Interdisciplinary Artist Award!? It is a symbolic award to the one who best shows how to connect and interrelate the parts and wholes so to create the most effective, soul moving and universally appealing art. This is how I figure it: When I consider the sunsets; and seemingly endless variety of trees and flowers; the magnificent forms in the cosmos; the breathtaking beauty of mountains; rainbows; waterfalls; and the mind boggling diversity of life on the earth, I figure the Creator deserves The Outstanding Interdisciplinary Artist Award! But is the Creator an artist? Well, just as an artist's style is observable through consistent Techniques and Results, so too, I believe, is the Creator's style observable. Here's a few stylistic qualities that can be observed and attributed to the Creator: Interrelating parts and wholes of His forms; Employing light and shade in the most subtle ways, at the right times and in the right places; Employing light and shade in the most bold ways, at the right time and in the right places; The perfect use of color; A broader color pallet than any other artist (remember, in addition to the beautiful rainbow of colors that we can see, there are still other colors in His pallet, which we cannot see); More works than any other artist; The ability to give life to His works; Using edges and changes better than any other artist; Using self-similar forms masterfully; and Connecting all things by making them with the same elements. The Creator's ability to do all these things consistently shows His style. That is why I think He is an artist - even the Grand Ultimate Artist - and deserves The Outstanding Interdisciplinary Artist Award! -GH Interdisciplinary Nature of Art
